FADED IMAGES: Keith Richards

It's very important to me to show dedication and thanks to the style of rock legends from the 60s and 70s. Evolution and revolution was the name of the game. But what really lays close with me is the bond I share with my mum who always had vinyls spinning around the house as I grew up. The likes of 'The Doors' 'Grass Roots' 'Blue Magoos' and John Lennon were a constant feature...but it is and still remains a favorite of my mother's, the incomparable Rolling Stones!

"For more than 40 years, Keith along with his band, The Rolling Stones, have been on the spotlight not only for their music but for their iconic and outstanding fashions. Here is a photo from the late 60s in which we can see Richards wearing some velvet trousers and an open white cotton shirt (it looks like one of the Romantic Peasant shirts that were popular in the late 60s)."

ANJULIE

I am currently listening to Anjulie's "Boom" non-stop.
For those who know me or who are getting too...know that nothing
on this planet makes me smile more than discovering new quality tunes!
And Anjulie's album is no exception.

Get an idea.

File Under: What the Mahjiggers ?!?

For ONCE, it's okay for all you out-of-work kidda's to turn a blind eye towards this one!

"Paris Hilton had a 300 sq. ft, $325,000 dog house built for her pups Tinkerbell, Marilyn Monroe, Prince Baby Bear, Harajuku, Dolce and Prada.
The pooch mansion sits behind her Beverly Hills home and is furnished with faux designer doggie products from Jimmy Chew, Pawda, Sniffany & Co. and Chewy Vuitton.
The two floor dog house has a clay-tile roof with copper gutters, intricate ceiling molding and a crystal chandelier hanging in the bedroom complete with central air. The dogs even have a closet and a downstairs living room!"

Yup.This is very real.

I love you, Tokyo!

Lady GaGa conjured up a brand-new version of Poker Face on some Japanese program yesterday morning, and it is S'marvelous!

Diane Kruger

Diane Kruger is an actress well below the radar in hollywood but she is consistently churning out films that have a directors abnormal touch to 'em. My favorite film of hers, has, and will always be "Wicker Park".

But as of late, Diane Kruger has been making the rounds for the last couple months promoting her latest WWII film, "Inglourious Basterds". But what has really captured my attention from the 33-year-old German actress are the choice of threads. Sophisticated yet playful, Diane exudes a modern-day elegance that resemble that of Grace Kelly and Marlene Dietrich.

How does Jean Paul Gaultier smash a thoughtful Bardot themed couture collection from last season?

With something from far far yet not so far away...

Here is the very first peek of boots he’s done for Doc Martens. The shoes come in both black and white with just a cryptic caption and no certain 411 on timing, though it sounds like they’ll "only be available in Gaultier stores in France".

Unless your headed to Paris sometime soon, you might wanna file these under..."

The Diary Of Lourdes Leon

Madonna is reportedly planning to take her children on a trip to Auschwitz later this month.

The 50-year-old pop star/Kaballah obsessed has discussed her plans with close friend Rabbi Berg, and her team is now going through the logistics.

“It won’t be an easy trip but it is an ultimate life affirming experience, and one Madonna — because of her strong Kaballah beliefs — does not want to ignore,” a source tells the Mirror. “She wants her children to appreciate how lucky they are and to learn about mistakes made in the past.”

What ever happened to watching a good ol' documentary on the History channel, huh?

Musique Monday.

I change shapes just to hide in this place but I'm still, I'm still an animal
Nobody knows it but me when I slip yeah I slip
I'm still an animal

There was a time when my world was filled with darkness, darkness, darkness
And I stopped dreaming now
I'm supposed to fill it up with something, something, something
In your eyes I see the eyes of somebody I knew before long long long ago
But I'm still trying to make my mind up
Am I free or am I tied up

I change shapes just to hide in this place but I'm still, I'm still an animal
Nobody knows it but me when I slip yeah I slip
I'm still an animal

I change shapes just to hide in this place but I'm still, I'm still an animal
Nobody knows it but me when I slip yeah I slip
I'm still an animal

Pope Benedict XVI The Next King Of Pop ?!!?

"Turns out Pope Benedict XVI will soon release a record composed of Lauretan litanies and prayers. The record, Alma Mater, is going to be released through Geffen Records. And, according to execs at Geffen, listeners will be "shocked" by the Pope's "incredible voice" and will feature him using five different languages."

Well Snap!

"The album will have eight tracks of music with Benedict singing one song and the others will feature music accompanying his prayers. The Pope had originally been working on an album with the Choir of the Philharmonic Academy of Rome.
That's when Geffen Pres, Colin Barlow, says, "We travelled to Rome, heard some of the music and realised it was a beautiful piece of music and something that actually could be an incredible record for us to work on. It's very much about delivering a really brilliant piece of music and making sure we treat it with the respect it deserves."

And there's a nice outcome coming from this. The proceeds will go to provide music education for underprivileged kids worldwide.
Expect the album to be released on November 30th of this year."

Right around the time when we deck the halls!
I must say, even the Pope needs marketing strategizing to prepare the release of his album. Fine work indeed!

SNAP! SNAP!

Love her or follow the trend of being a "anti-idontlikeher-shelookslikea-whatisshewearingnow..."

And that is...

To Protect Humankind

"Twilight author Stephanie Meyer will be joining Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and Princess Diana to be immortalized in the comic book series Female Force.

According to the publisher, Bluewater Productions, the series is "a broad examination of strong and influential women who are shaping modern history and culture."

Why isn't Hilary Clinton on the Female Force?!

Indulgence of every whim

Here is the first video from Imogen Heap's new album being released August 25th
entitled, 'Canvas'. The video was shot by Tom Kelly.

Imogen's apparent inspiration for this video came from a gentleman she spotted up north painting a black canvas with white paint in the vast snow which really moved her and later made a tune from that experience...and thee accompanying video is here to set justice to her alluring song!

Both suttle and bold. This video is relatable to many degrees.
An abstract manner of thinking.

FADED IMAGES.

Mick Jaggger. Rock God. Legend. Sex pot.
*Gotta love the knee-do's!

Picture hunt a la mayhem

Now, photographers occasionally ask models, like myself, if we're open to do "body shots/semi-nude pictorials"

And this is how I usually reply...
