Mick Jagger takes over the White House

Rolling Stone's Legend Mick Jagger takes over the White House in a special performance for the White House: Red, White and Blues special which aired on PBS over the week and below you can take a sneak peak of the special celebrating the best of Blues and Rock and Roll live from the presidential palace.
"In Performance at the White House: Red, White and Blues" will honor the musical form that sprang from the Mississippi Delta and flourished in the Westside of Chicago with deep roots in Africa and slavery. The performances will explore those roots and pay homage to the great figures of the Blues and the songs they made famous by tracing the influence of the Blues on modern American music from soul to rock'n'roll.

Terence Stamp and Jean Shrimpton: A Darling Mod Duo

We've all been there kiddas, those last minute touches we add to our hair, make-up, and/or ensemble such in the case as in the photo opt above of Terence Stamp and Jean Shrimpton. The twosome were shot right before making their way to the London premiere of Terence's film "The Collector" released on October of 1965. This photo captures the instant when both parties added that last minute magic additions to an already elegant and demure look.

Last Berenstain Bears Creator Passes On

It's a sad day for the child in all of us as the creator of the Berenstain Bears Books and animations has passed on.
Children's book legend Jan Berenstain -- who co-created the Berenstain Bears -- died Friday at 88-years-old after suffering a stroke ... this according to her family.
Jan and her husband Stan Berenstain created the Bear family -- Mama Bear, Papa Bear, Brother Bear and Sister Bear -- back in 1962 ... when they published their first book, "The Big Honey Hunt."
Since then, they fired out more than 300 stories.
According to Jan's son, Jan suffered a severe stroke on Thursday and died the following day.
Stan died back in 2005 at the age of 82.
They are survived by their sons and four grandchildren. -TMZ.com
