Robyn And Zhala Perform At Sweden's Grammis

Robyn took to Sweden's Grammis stage (the equivalent to Grammy Awards) to introduce her newest label mate, Zhala with the track "Prophet" off Z's upcoming EP. The performance takes a familiar setting as it mimics Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" music video with even that creepy older man moping the floor.

The track is a dark wave/techno puncher that starts off hard then slowly relaxes but quickly comes in for the punch. Its intense and we are loving it!

Catch Zhala and Robyn's new doo below!

Ashish’s Light-Up Platform Sneakers Are Coming to a Topshop Near You

In the 90's LA Lights were all the rage but lets fast forward back to 2014 because theres a new light up show in town for the older folks!

If you found yourself whimpering with jealousy upon viewing the Instagram video Lily Allen posted after the Ashish show in London on Monday (below) — showing the pop star fawning over a pair of fresh-off-the-runway light-up sneaks — you’re in for a treat: The U.K.-based label has just announced it’s doing another collaboration with Topshop, and those L.A. Lights-esque Buffalo platforms are part of it.

Launching in May, the upcoming Ashish x Topshop collection will “embody the world of camera-facing celebrities on holiday, relaxing and partying,” according to a release — which leaves quite a lot of questions, aside from, of course, what said celebs are apparently wearing on their feet.

As per designer Ashish Gupta, “This is going to be the biggest project we have done together and also marks 10 years of my creative partnership with [Topshop].”

Between these club kid-worthy kicks and that annoyingly well-guarded Kate Moss collection coming in April, 2014 is shaping up to be an excellent year for Topshop collabos. -fashionista.com

Kelis Gets a Cooking Show And Releases Behind The Scenes Jerk Rib Video

Its looks like ItsNotYouItsMe favorite Kelis is beginning the lift off on her new album FOOD as she today released a video for her single "Jerk Ribs."

The video directed by Los Angeles street culture artist Mr. Cartoon takes Kelis to Mexico in what looks to be behind the scenes clips of the Fleshtone singer creating her promotional art work and filming her video in a doo-wop inspired dress. We hope "Ribs" gets a full video because judging from the clips its a cute one.

Kelis has gone through a few incarnations over the course of her 15-year career. As Pharrell’s muse, she made strange, funky pop songs like “Milkshake” that took over American radio; she was more forceful still with clanging, dissonant R&B tracks like “Bossy”; then, she transformed into a spaced-out electrohouse diva on her last album, 2010′s Flesh Tone, which saw her topping the dance charts and touring with Swedish pop pixie Robyn. But after spending several years training as a chef at Le Cordon Bleu, she’s marrying her two loves — music and food — on a new album called (what else?) Food.

The first single, “Jerk Ribs,” is a rootsy sliver of funk-lite produced by TV On the Radio’s Dave Sitek, pairing her husky vocals with a toe-tapping backbeat and shimmering chorus; the horns are the loudest thing here. The video is as eclectic and visually far-flung as the song itself, a melange of lush and gritty textures: Kelis pouts and preens in different photo shoots and performs at a garden party, but she’s always being tended to by a makeup artist or coached by a photographer. In this video, as with cooking, it’s less about the finished product and more about the process.

“This song is the cornerstone of my album,” Kelis told TIME. “So I wanted the video to look like my life, my love — back to the beginning.”

And if and album called "Food" wasn't enough for the R&B/Pop star shes getting her own cooking show smartly titled "Saucy And Sweet" on the Cooking Channel!

Rihanna’s Tips for Dressing Like Rihanna, as Told to Vogue

Pop princess Rihanna gives Vogue magazine the 411 on what makes her own stye effortlessly cool and attainable in a cute story that will have you feeling FAB-U-LUS

In not-so-surprising news, Rihanna is Vogue‘s March cover girl (the pop star herself leaked several images a few weeks ago). It’s her third time covering the glossy.

The accompanying story inside, though, is filled with interesting — and surprising — insights into RiRi’s seemingly unattainable cool and influential personal style. Throughout the piece, the style star — who’s inspired entire collections by Balmain and Tom Ford — spends the day dressing writer Plum Sykes in pieces from Alexander Wang, Ford and Adam Selman. It’s one of the most entertaining Vogue cover stories we’ve read in a while, and it’s also useful. So, we’ve cut through the fluff and compiled a list of great, actionable tips to becoming Rihanna:

• Get a weave: “I have two main hair people I work with. They’re always with me. I’m like, ‘I’m bored! I wanna change my hair!’ That’s the good thing about a weave. You can do whatever with it.” Oh, and have two hair people around at all times.

• Don’t worry about the pain when choosing footwear: “I can dance in them,” Rihanna says of a pair of Saint Laurent stilettos. “It’s not about pain. It’s about the commitment. I say to myself, ‘I want to look like this,’ and worry about the pain later.”

• It’s time to revisit mall store Claire’s: “My jewelry’s all fake — from Claire’s. Or I get it from my mom’s boutique in Barbados. Her shop’s called FAB-U-LUS.” So, Rihanna goes to the mall??

• Oversized jackets are the key to everything: “It’s fierce,” she says of a men’s Alexander Wang jacket. “This is dope leather. More than anything, I like a jacket. You can do anything with a great jacket, the bigger the better. You can have any silhouette underneath. It gives you an attitude. It makes a gown look cool.”

• Wear men’s clothes: ““I love baggy things. I wear men’s clothes, men’s shoes, oxfords, creepers.”

• Take risks: “Plum! You will never be stylish if you don’t take risks,” she says after Sykes admits to being afraid of trying menswear. “If you go into a men’s shop and try something, they would look at you like, that’s a bad bitch.”

• Use MAC eyeliner: Rihanna has an assistant go to the MAC store so that she can recreate her own eye makeup look on Sykes’ face.

• Dress like you’re a pop star at dance rehearsal: “It all started in dance rehearsal,” Rihanna explains of her now-iconic sweats-with-heels look. “When you’re on tour, you go to rehearse wearing sweats and sneaks. Then you practice your song in the heels you are going to wear that night. I realized, Wow, that looks cool! I have a friend who is literally searching for cool T-shirts for me all the time because I’m obsessed.” Also, employ someone whose sole job is to “find cool t-shirts” for you.

• Expand your Instagram followers: “I follow girls from the Middle East. It gives you ideas.”

• Finally, the best rule of all, the rule of bras: “If I’m wearing a top, I don’t wear a bra,” she says. “If I’m wearing a bra, I just wear a bra.”

It’s also worth noting that the duo’s next shopping trip could take them to Rihanna’s own store: “She wants to start a fashion label soon,” writes Sykes. Could RiRi be the next celebrity to find legitimate fashion success? It certainly seems possible.
