The Complete Version Of Maggie Rogers’ “ALASKA”

With a little help from a little known producer friend, Pharrell Williams, we introduce you kiddas to NYU student, Miss Maggie Rogers!

Her original rough demo version of her now supa-dupa buzzworthy track “Alaska,” is a little folk a little trip-hop, a dash of dance and a whole lotta side to side groove. It's one of those tunes kiddas where by the end of the closing verse you find yourself hypnotized swaying in a trance that's all your own. Take an ear gander to thee completed finished version of the single out now, and get into the groover kiddas as the pulsating controlled beat accompanied by an acoustic guitar simple soft disco percussion beat, with a moody almost desolate themed melody. "Pharrell Williams hosts a masterclass for music students at The Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts as part of his 50TH ANNIVERSARY Artist-In-Residency. Joined by Dean Allyson Dean and Professors Bob Power and Jason King, Pharrell listens to students’ projects, offers constructive criticism, and discusses the nature of the creative process. Pharrell also invited high school kids from the Future Music Moguls, a free high school program at Clive Davis Institute, to observe the masterclass."
